With a Ph.D. from the University of California (Berkeley), Steve has a versatile background in combining citrus science with innovations in communications and computer science, specifically in the area of Internet applications. The talk will focus on a system currently in place to monitor the presence of insects and pests in citrus groves located in Florida, and relate this information to supply chain management.
